Recently, Hunan Aokang Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. was invited by relevant Hong Kong government departments to participate in the 4th Homecoming Carnival, jointly organized by local fellow township associations.
Themed “Taste of Home, Heart of Home”, the carnival brought together specialty products from multiple mainland provinces and cities — and attracted large crowds of Hong Kong citizens.
👉 This is not the first time Aokang Bio has joined this event.
The company also participated in the 3rd Homecoming Carnival, receiving positive market feedback.
Being invited for two consecutive years reflects growing trust in Aokang’s product quality and the increasing recognition of Hunan’s feature agricultural products in Hong Kong.

At this year’s carnival, Aokang Bio’s booth focused on Xupu Yaocha, a specialty tea from Xupu County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province — also known as “Zhangjiajie’s natural gift.”

Produced in the mountainous areas of western Hunan, Xupu Yaocha carries traditional local craftsmanship. It features a clear tea liquor and smooth, rich taste.
Thanks to its natural mountain flavor and solid quality, the tea attracted many Hong Kong visitors to stop by, taste, and ask questions.
At peak times, small lines formed in front of the booth.
Aokang Bio’s successful participation would not have been possible without the strong support of:
Hong Kong Hunan Fellow Association
Hong Kong Huaihua Fellow Association
Both organizations have long been committed to connecting Hunanese communities and promoting hometown specialty products. They helped Aokang Bio secure a well-located booth and provided valuable on-the-ground support in engaging Hong Kong consumers.
Through this collaboration, Aokang Bio was able to clearly communicate the origin stories and traditional craftsmanship behind Xupu Yaocha — further strengthening the cultural and emotional bond between Hunan and Hong Kong.

Since its launch, the Homecoming Carnival has become one of the most important platforms for mainland specialty products to enter the Hong Kong market.
For Aokang Bio, participating in the carnival for two consecutive years is more than just a product promotion opportunity. It also offers:
Direct exposure to Hong Kong consumer preferences
Valuable experience for future overseas market expansion
Moving forward, Aokang Bio will continue to leverage its expertise in plant extract technology to further develop:
Xupu Yaocha and other Hunan specialty tea products
High-purity natural sweeteners
Active ingredient extracts from Chinese medicinal herbs
With the continued support of Hong Kong’s fellow township associations, Aokang Bio aims to help more “Xiang” (Hunan) brands reach broader markets — starting from Hong Kong and beyond.
